Cudmore Creek (also known as Burns Creek) started near Eglinton and Mount Pleasant and ran through an area that is now largely residential. Its former course through Mount Pleasant Cemetery is completely buried, but there is still a small ravine beside the Bayview Avenue Extension south of the CPR mainline tracks. It was approximately three and a half kilometres long. Here it has been divided into two reaches: The much altered upper or Forman Reach, from the source near Eglinton Avenue and Mount Pleasant Road in North Toronto to Bayview Avenue, and the shorter more natural lower or Bayview Reach, from Bayview Avenue to where it meets the Don River near Pottery Road.
